Mental Health Day on the Hill

Mental Health Day on the Hill

Three Cheers for Policy Advocacy!

Local mental health advocates along with ARMHS staff and our AMHI Coordinator took the amazing opportunity to engage in policy advocacy at Mental health Day on the Hill. Participants met with legislators from their District, listened to speakers on important policy issues, and attended a rally in the Capitol Rotunda. Along the way they also go to tour Vail Place Clubhouse, and build connections across their different sites. Many people ended the event feeling heard by their policymakers, and empowered to continue engage in advocacy in their community! This trip was funded by Region 2 AMHI and the Mental Health Legislative Network.
