Join a Local Advisory Council
What is a Local Advisory Council?
A Local Mental Health Advisory Council (LAC) offers individuals, parents, families, and providers the opportunity to make a real difference in how mental health care is provided in their community by offering county and state policy makes the wisdom of those who experience mental health concerns first-hand. LAC’s meet on a regular basis to discuss experiences of and opportunities for people living with mental illness in their area.
